» Grandma07 - Homeschooling or Public Schools?

In the past, we have homeschooled our six children and the benefits were astounding. We have also taken advantage of the public school system. I'd like to know what type of education you chose for your children and why!

We currently homeschool our two little ones, now ages 4 and 5. As of now, I really don't have any desire to send them to school. I do agree that homeschooling has many benefits, but we plan to be flexible and perhaps take advantage of public or private schools in the future. By the way, I really enjoyed your Thanksgiving article!

Thank you!
I loved homeschooling as well. Our children have sailed on to become family oriented, happy adults who are now raising their own children. If we do one thing in life well, it pays to leave the legacy of love through your children!

I a former public school teacher but have chosen to homeschool my children. I've been "in the trenches" and simply won't subject my children to all the negative aspects of school.
